SOLUTIONS / AI
AI that solves real
business problems.
Put AI to work on a specific task: finding information, processing documents or helping work move between teams. We start with the process, the data and the decisions that need human judgment.
Discuss an AI opportunity ↗Start with one useful workflow.
Define the task, connect the right information and agree on how success will be measured. Then evaluate a focused solution before expanding its role in your operations.
Compare results with simpler rules or integration when those may meet the need.
Choose the kind of support your team needs.
Knowledge assistants
Help people find answers in approved business information.
Workflow automation
Classify and route work with clear rules and review points.
Customer support
Answer routine questions and hand exceptions to your team.
Document processing
Extract information and flag items that need review.
Business copilots
Prepare information and drafts for a specific role.
Know what the system can do — and when to review it.
We define the sources, access, actions and evaluation criteria around your use case. Where an answer or action needs review, that step is part of the workflow.
Compare business process automation →AI as part of your systems.
AI is often one part of a larger system: the data it reads, the people who review its output and the software that acts on the result. When the work goes beyond a single AI task, see custom software solutions. ProDev is based in Sarasota, Florida; read about custom software development in Sarasota.
Before we talk
Does every automation project need AI?
No. Predictable workflows may be better addressed with rules and conventional integration.
What makes a pilot useful?
A bounded workflow, representative evaluation set and agreed criteria for quality, exceptions and operational ownership.
Can AI act on business systems automatically?
Permissions and approval boundaries must be defined first. Actions are limited to the agreed scope and reviewed where required.
What do you need from us to evaluate an AI use case?
A specific task, how often it happens, who owns the result, which information sources you are allowed to use, what the most costly error would be and how the work is reviewed today. We use that to agree on an evaluation before building anything.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, in Sarasota, Tampa, Naples, Fort Myers or Cape Coral when it helps to map the workflow. Elsewhere, Discovery and project work run remotely in US time zones.
Can AI help with quote requests that arrive with drawings or specifications?
It can help with a bounded part of that work: pulling agreed fields from the documents customers send and flagging what needs a closer look, so your team reviews and prices the quote. It does not replace your estimators or interpret every technical drawing. When rules or an integration are enough, we start there.
